Uhm wut?

So, shopping is fun, but not when sl is hating on you hardcore. I've had the worst lag in sl all week. But I find something so funny, so I'mma sort of rant here. Every time I tell someone I'm a blogger they say something to the effect of  "Oh! I've always wanted to try that, I would love to get free stuff." Or people get into it thinking they're going to get a ton of free stuff, or money, or whatever.

News flash: That doesn't happen.

And frankly I get a little pissed when people get into blogging with that kind of attitude. It's like store owners who only start making stuff because they want to make money. Or DJs that only DJ to get famous. What the hell? That's not right! As a blogger, I spend a ton of money, and I'm freaking lucky if I can get a store owner to give me something free. And the only time that I legitly ask for something for free is when I find something I absolutely need for a post that I can't afford. And even then I almost never get what I want and end up having to wait two or three days to buy it.

"If you can't afford it, then you don't really need it." A belt, a pair of shoes, a hat. Anything can make or break an outfit. People don't realize how much most bloggers put into every post they make. I usually end up spending anywhere from 1k to 3k on a single post just trying to find the right crap to make my outfits as perfect as they are in my mind. Most of it doesn't make it in the posts.  I won't even tell you how much of a disaster my inventory is. Let me just say I had 3k items before I started blogging, all nicely organized.... now I have 13k, all under all my system folders in my inventory. I really need to clean it.

I've had friends, and I've known people who start blogging because they want to get famous, or they want to make money or they want free stuff. Needless to say I didn't show them my support for their blogs. Just like I don't show support for DJs who only DJ cause they want fans. The point of blogging is to express yourself, and share your opinions and points of view. It should be fun, and you should enjoy it. Don't turn it into a job.

I love my blog, I love blogging. Sure I hate spending massive amounts of Lindens on it, but I love shopping. Everyone hates being broke. But it happens. You always have to compromise  Do you think the best store owners make the great clothes they do because they just want the money? No they do it because they like making cute stuff that I and everyone else in sl loves.

I love the stuff I buy. Like this! Ugh how I love this outfit so much. All up in my happy place cause of it. I love the tattoo. It took me over a day to find this. Like over a day of dedicated  "I need a full body tat but only the right kind of full body tat". I swear I looked at this one like 7 times before I finally said. I bought it, and loooooved it! It works so well with this outfit! :D Not to mention the back is cuteness in a little skin defacing package.

This outfit's from the 100 block fair thingy by depraved nation, the same people who have Razorblade Jacket... cause I luv that store so muches :3. (Even though I haven't been accepted as an official blogger for there yet. T^T) I am so far behind on posts again  and I lack the motivation to write. But I have lots of motivation to shop, so I'll get the posts up for the month I promise, and I promise they will be very.... probably not too chatty, cause this was my rant. Imma end it with another "I luvs this outfit so much! :D"

Hell hath No Desserts...

It's officially march here in the cst timezone of the usa. I can't believe next month FIWS, will have been up for an entire year! It feels like much longer, lol.
Well I'm starting this month off with a combat themed outfit. Why? Cause I wanted to! But it's a good one, cause aren't most of my outfits that I post good ones? I like to think they are. The picture above was taken on the roof of the black market at the crack den rp sim, because it just seemed like the perfect place to pose as assassin for a picture. Even though my character is a kelpto, and not an assassin, when she gets more street cred I'mma start dressing her totally bad ass and shit. Yeah!
Anyways, onto the outfit cause you don't care about my life! *sniff sniff* Ha ha, funny. But really, it's time to talk about the outfit. Okay, so let's go from the bottom to the top.

These boots, omg these boots. I love these boots, they are so fucking cute! I keep trying to build my everyday outfits around these , they are calf high and VERY well textured. I absolutely adore these, and I am very incredibly picky about the quality of black boots. The metal of the toes and heels are very realistic and the boots look wonderful with most combat themed outfits and even most casual outfits.
Then there's the dress, this dress from Graves is beautiful. I love it. It's simple, not too slutty, futuristic, the style makes it good for combat rp because, the skirt is short, so it's easy to move in, and the thigh high socks work with the boots to not expose too much skin. It's a great design for girly girls who like to get dirty on occasion, I think it could have been better if maybe she had pink in it, like with black around the edges, and colors in the middle, like pink, or blue, or green, yellow, purple. But that would make the outfit more futuristic and less combatish. I also think this outfit would look great torn, like with cuts on it, can you see that in your mind? I hope so, because it looks awesome in my mind. The outfit looks good like this too.
The sunglasses are a free group gift from Rerty, you tp in and join the group for free and join them, there's two different styles available. And I'm actually going to cut this blog entry short, why? Cause it's March 1st and the Twisted Hunt is on. Yep that means the next 14/15 posts will be nothing but twisted hunt, 20 items down, 128 more to go not counting endgame. So see ya when it's done! Tomorrow is the big day! The Global Domination hunt starts... and it's Valentine's day. And for all those lonely hearts that are so sorry they don't have a valentine for Valentine's Day, I have a quote for you.

Madea says: "You don't have a valentine on Valentine's Day? Some people don't have mothers on Mother's Day, or a father on Father's Day, so shut up."

Being single isn't the worst thing in the world, and if your priority is having someone to give you something on a V-day, you need to rethink the purpose of being in a relationship. Did you know in Japan it's only women who give chocolates to men as a sign of adoration? And most of them handmake their chocolates. So when you're complaining cause you don't have a man to give you flowers girls over seas are working their asses off to make candy for a guy that they adore. But not always. They also give "obligation chocolates", or Giri-choko, to their male friends, bosses, coworkers and what not. Instead of it being a day for men to show their affection to women it's the women's day to show appreciation for men. Men give gifts (normally not chocolates) to the women that gave them gifts on White Day which is march 14th, one month after Valentine's Day. Of course not all of them make their own chocolate, it's mostly the high school girls, but don't you think that's something really romantic rather than giving store bought boxes of chocolate? Homemade always tastes better (unless bitch can't cook).

Little culture lesson for you. Anyways, this outfit is still using the boots and socks from the last outfit cause they just look so damn good together. The jacket is form Ducknipple, and the undershirt is from journey. It's actually a shirt for men but that doesn't matter. I've also done the shorts before, but like I say, you can always recycle stuff. You can make awesome outfits by mixing and matching. 

I always try to buy stuff that I can use sperately, cause blogging gets expensive always having to buy new stuff. No way just mix it up, I promise there's something cute in your inventory you just have to figure out how to put it together.

This was my outfit for my birthday outfit. And yes I know it's been a while since I've posted. Buuuut I have outfits, lots for kids, and a few for adults. This is my new zombie killing outfit >:D It's really military-ish which makes it great for things like combat rp. 

The outfit is from Severed Garden, which I do like their stuff even though I don't shop there often. I check a lot cause their stuff is usually well priced and good for a lot of RP. The pants, boots and shirt are all mesh. And no guys, you can't have my shape; so please stop asking! >.<
