Well hello fellow suckers. Today I have come to you feeling like I can take on the world. Ok, not really, but I did wake up with the intent to blog again, And Look, I did. I was not sure what I was going to do or anything. I do love to watch a blog come together. It didn’t start the way it ended. Nor was this in any way what I started out with as a picture in my head.
I logged on shopped around a bit I went to a few sales rooms. The attic has some really nice stuff this round and when I got my new hair I knew that was the start of the blog. Next I needed something to wear. Trusty jeans that love and wracked my brain for a shirt. Scoured my invent to see if I had anything that yelled at me OMG this. No luck. Then I thought back a week ago on yet another shopping trip when I came across something I wanted to get as a gift for someone else. That was my OMG moment, so I went and got it for her and one for me as well. You see she is a true super hero fan. So when I saw this it was a no brainer.
With that, I set off to look for the finishing touches.

There is a hunt for kids going on right now. It's small, but there's some cute stuff in it. It's a great pass time for this time of year, when everyone's busy or not online and you just have nothing to do. It's not a long hunt at all. There's only 16 stops, and two of them have to be skipped because their gifts aren't out yet. It's not hard, and some of the prizes are cute. Like I said it's a great little Pass Time for this time of year, when everyone's busy and those who don't have much to do are bored.

It's coming up on springtime, and springtime is always full of hunts with nice clothes, so I'm going to be keeping my eyes open for upcoming hunts. Even if you don't find anything you want to keep, you'll probably find something that'll make a cute picture or two. Like this...

"Iriiiiis! That picture sucks!" yeah I know. I procrastinated on it and I'm dead tired. Suffer with me.

One year ago today, I started face it we suck with my bestie. A lot has happened over the last year, and it's been kinda hard, there's been the slow months and the months where all I could focus on was what would I post next. But all through that year you guys stuck with me and supported me, and it means a lot. Without my readers this blog would have no purpose. And I'm hoping that in the future, FIWS can grow and hopefully I can even get my own domain which would rock if I could. I've come a long way with you guys, in all sorts of ways, from styling the blog to photography and even the style. My titles have gotten less and less relevant, my avis have gotten older and their styles have shifted, mesh has evolved and prims are used less and less. Fashion trends change but in a way they stay the same. I really do have to thank all of you, because I would have never made it as far as I have without you guys and I probably would have never lasted this whole year. And I certainly wouldn't have made it to 14k views in a year.

Now as that craptastic logo above says yes, to celebrate today, Face It We Suck's first birthday, I'm throwing a give away. There will be 6 winners as it says, 3 child avis, and 3 adult/teen avis. And yes I'm robbing my bf's bank account in the process. So I'm going to be giving away over 5k in prizes for both categories. It will run from today as soon as this post goes up to May 7th. That is exactly 3 weeks from today so you have until then to enter. Winners will be announced on the 8th or the 9th of May and prizes will be given out that same week as soon as I can get in touch with the winners.

Now for the prizes, while it's hard to find stores that are unisex that have gift cards, it's even harder to find stores for kids that are unisex and have giftcards. So after much searching and deliberation, I decided the kids will just get cash prizes along with the other smaller prizes promised to spend where ever they want.

Easy, firstly you must follow my blog. Up over on the left hand side. I know you probably don't want to, but I'm gonna make it necessary because I want you all to know as soon as the winners are decided and posted. Of course my blog's inworld group will know first (which is free to join) just like they were the first to know the prizes. I WILL NOT BE CHOOSING THE WINNERS. Nope. I have a friend of mine, (who shall remain un-named) who will go through and pick out each winner. To keep it fair he or she is not allowed to pick anyone related to them in sl, or rl and they are not allowed to select anyone that I claim in SL as my family/friends, and I will not participate in the selection of the people at all. I don't want anyone to feel like the winners were picked because they had a connection so this is how I've decided to do it. Of course anyone who doesn't win is welcome to hate the winners if they want cause after all they suck, right? ;D
