What am I wearing today…
I got fire for a heart
I'm not scared of the dark

I got a river for a soul
I have one memory as a child of sailing. I
was very young and can still remember the boat leaned over so far that the
water was on the edge about to come in. All I could think was "if it comes
in we are all going to die". I think I was about 7 or 8 and they just kept
telling me to sit still. Honestly all my
life I have lived by the water and I think I am only happy when I am not far
from it. T has the most calming effect on me.
Today I had decided I was going to blog. And
for about an hour or so I couldn’t get it.. I mean I had the want too just not
the creative mind set… was talking to a
friend Mas and he was like you ever been to this club… come on so I did. Everything happens for a reason I went about
the sim and found the sail boat…. Feel in love with it OMG it was amazing, If you have not been to this shop I would recommend
I went to look at the boat and ended up loving like everything there. The bikes
the cars all really well done. Ok enough

Holy $#%& I know I am not alone when I say Game of Thrones' return was GLORIOUS!
And when the bass gets loud, loud, loud,

Books, I used to have them everywhere. Iris
was a HUGE book fan. That girl read and read and read and read more. She would
pick up a book and not put it down till it was done. Like 4 hours later. We stood
in line the night that the last HP came out till it was released. She started reading
it in the car on the way home. By morning she was done. Now I think the only
reading she does Is on the net.
I don’t think you should give up reading.
Like ever. Pick up a book now and then learn something. Emerge yourself into a
world that is not your own. Use your imagination. Creativity strives on it. In
fact, I think that Is what I am going to do right now. Find me something nice
to read up lay in bed next to my love and forget the world around me
At least for a half hour till I have to
make dinner. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the sneak peeks into the new Krave
event starting in a few weeks. I CAN'T WAIT.

With St. Patricks day fast approaching it is time to do something a bit on the Irish side of things. A bit of my family heritage. My oldest son has a red beard, but is now 6 feet tall. The 2 others I think maybe lepricons they are both so short. Oh, and there is a Gacha fair....

What am I wearing today……
Not like the birds from the movie that gang up and kill you. However, I remember as a child watching it and walking outside the next day and seeing all the birds flying around and thinking that they are going to kill me. Oh the things we can start to believe as a child.
Today I was working on a post and used a bird from Mystrey and thought how cute added a few hummingbirds and was instantly brought back to the time in my life. I wonder if it is only me that thinks of that movie when I see a flock of birds still to this day.

What am I wearing today……
Let’s face it, everything is bigger
in Second life. People make avis that
are 8 feet tall. Some makes their boobs bigger than their heads. Butts are made way out of proportion to the
rest of the body. I won't even get into
the gap that some are placing between their legs.
I am not one of them. My avie is a
respectable 5 foot 9 inches that is 175.26 for those that use the metric
system. To most on SL I an almost child sized. At my job I sometimes have to
test animations with people that I look them in their belt buckles when we
dance. I don’t hug just anyone because where my face ends up.
I don’t know when it got to be the
normal to be so tall or want things to be so big. But I guess if your happy
them that is all that matters. I will make one compliant to being so normal
sized in SL. When I buy things like a kitchen or a house I have to adjust some
things like counters and stuff so that they fit me. What a pain in the……. Well,
I will talk to you all next time K.

Being single isn't the worst thing in the world, and if your priority is having someone to give you something on a V-day, you need to rethink the purpose of being in a relationship. Did you know in Japan it's only women who give chocolates to men as a sign of adoration? And most of them handmake their chocolates. So when you're complaining cause you don't have a man to give you flowers girls over seas are working their asses off to make candy for a guy that they adore. But not always. They also give "obligation chocolates", or Giri-choko, to their male friends, bosses, coworkers and what not. Instead of it being a day for men to show their affection to women it's the women's day to show appreciation for men. Men give gifts (normally not chocolates) to the women that gave them gifts on White Day which is march 14th, one month after Valentine's Day. Of course not all of them make their own chocolate, it's mostly the high school girls, but don't you think that's something really romantic rather than giving store bought boxes of chocolate? Homemade always tastes better (unless bitch can't cook).
Little culture lesson for you. Anyways, this outfit is still using the boots and socks from the last outfit cause they just look so damn good together. The jacket is form Ducknipple, and the undershirt is from journey. It's actually a shirt for men but that doesn't matter. I've also done the shorts before, but like I say, you can always recycle stuff. You can make awesome outfits by mixing and matching.
I always try to buy stuff that I can use sperately, cause blogging gets expensive always having to buy new stuff. No way just mix it up, I promise there's something cute in your inventory you just have to figure out how to put it together.

Finding props with the poses you have in mind are freaking hard! But after about 2 or 3 hours of searching marketplace and going through stores I found this prop, which wasn't exactly the prop I wanted but the poses worked better than anything else I had found. Once again I am reusing these boots because they are currently my favorite pair of shoes.
I visited a few places today. Okay I went to a lot of places. I went to The Sugar garden, Collabor88, Exposure, Zodiac, back to Collabor88, Marketplace, Pulse Skins, Exile, Collabor88, and on and on and on. I did a lot of window shopping because when I put these boots on with these garter-ed socks, I knew exactly what I wanted to blog today. Finding it all was not easy. I'd forgotten the name of the dress I wanted and I didn't know what kind of hair I wanted to pair with it, and I was tired of my skin and I didn't want to use a regular pose, and it just took a lot to pull the look for these pics together properly.
Thankfully, the huds for the Global Domination hunt came out today, and if they hadn't I probably would have taken even longer to find the dress, and this post would have never happened. So, I thank you staff of HCE for releasing your huds today so that I could look at the list of who gave out what gifts at the kiosks for the huds. How did this help me, you're wondering? Well my dears, under the gifts I happened to see the exact dress I was looking for. So I typed in the name of the shop and low and behold; there it was on marketplace! Just waiting for me to pick a vest color and buy it. Which I did. Snicker Snicker.
Like I said, they released the huds for Global Domination which is only 300$L if you buy it before the 14th, if you buy it on the 14th or after it'll cost 400$L. And I know what you're thinking. 400$L for a fucking hud for a hunt? You're just paying for everything. Not quite. This hunt as three grand prizes for the first 3 to finish. So it's kinda like a contest, a battle of wits, a riddle to puzzle your thinker. In other words, it's gonna be a challenge, and if you're willing to pay the price you may just be handsomely rewarded for your brilliance.
The dress comes from Cracked Mirror and comes in different colors. I chose the pink because when it's winter pink is like my favorite color. I'm not sure why during the winter I love it but when it comes summer time I'm ready for that color to die. The pillows are from Glitterati, and yeah I know I could have looked there as one of the first shops, but I don't typically like their stuff and to be honest I'd completely forgotten about that store's existence >.>. Oops.
The hair is by truth, it's at Collabor88 right now. And I kept looking around cause I wasn't sure if I wanted this kind of hair, I really thought I wanted something down and long and curly, but I thought this side ponytail worked better. I really like it outfit, I think it came together really well. Reusing things you find in your inventory helps you save money, and even helps you look more creative. When you mix and match you're less likely to come across someone wearing the same thing as you.

This was my outfit for my birthday outfit. And yes I know it's been a while since I've posted. Buuuut I have outfits, lots for kids, and a few for adults. This is my new zombie killing outfit >:D It's really military-ish which makes it great for things like combat rp.
The outfit is from Severed Garden, which I do like their stuff even though I don't shop there often. I check a lot cause their stuff is usually well priced and good for a lot of RP. The pants, boots and shirt are all mesh. And no guys, you can't have my shape; so please stop asking! >.<
